The America’s 250th Birthday Cash Prize Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by Storage of America, with participating locations throughout the United States
Each individual who rents a storage unit from Storage of America during the Promotion Period will automatically receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes.
Limit one (1) entry per person.
This Sweepstakes will award a total of 21 prizes as follows:
Grand Prize (1 winner):
$10,000 USD cash
Second Prizes (20 winners):
$250 USD cash each
Total Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $15,000 USD
Prizes will be awarded as a check or electronic funds transfer, at Sponsor’s discretion. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be substituted or redeemed for other items, except at Sponsor’s sole discretion.
The selected winners will be notified by phone and/or email within five (5) business days of the drawing. If a selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, or fails to respond within seven (7) days, an alternate winner may be selected.
All federal, state, and local taxes associated with the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. Sponsor may issue an IRS Form 1099 for the ARV of the prize.
By accepting the prize, the winner grants Sponsor permission to use their name, likeness, and city/state of residence for promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all liability, claims, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising from or related to participation in the Sweepstakes or from acceptance, use, or misuse of the prize.Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete entries, or for any technical failures that may affect entry into the Sweepstakes.
Information collected will be used solely to administer the Sweepstakes and in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy.
Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Sweepstakes if fraud, technical failures, or other factors compromise the integrity of the promotion.
The selected winners will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability Release, and may be required to complete and return an IRS Form W-9, within seven (7) calendar days of notification or such other time as determined by Sponsor, as a condition of prize fulfillment.Failure to timely return all required documentation, or failure to comply with these Official Rules, may result in forfeiture of the prize and selection of an alternate winner, at Sponsor’s sole discretion.
